How To Delete Your Data
If you signed in to PetPals using Facebook and want your data deleted, you can delete your account directly inside the PetPals app.
- Open the PetPals app.
- Go to your profile or settings screen.
- Choose Delete Account.
- Confirm that you want your account and related data deleted.
After confirmation and any required Apple reauthorization, PetPals closes your account and permanently removes account, profile, pet and sign-in provider information, media that can be safely attributed to your account, private verification evidence, authored content, matches, messages, playdates and saved places. If cleanup cannot finish immediately, the app confirms that deletion was requested; cleanup retries automatically and the account stays inaccessible. The record is erased after cleanup and cannot be restored. If older media needs an ownership review, deletion remains pending and a minimal private cleanup record is kept until the review is resolved. Minimal store purchase ownership records are retained to prevent fraud. Backups, logs and legally required records may have separate retention periods. Deleting the account does not cancel a store subscription; cancel it separately in your Apple or Google subscription settings.
If You Cannot Access Your Account
If you cannot log in to the app, you can request deletion by email. Send your request from the email address connected to your PetPals account.

Facebook Login Data
PetPals uses Facebook Login only to help you sign in or create an account. In-app account deletion permanently removes the Facebook provider identifier and connected account data as part of the cleanup above. You can also request deletion by email if you cannot access the app. Account ownership may need to be verified before processing an email request.
